The brief provided by the client was to construct a contemporary home including 5 bedrooms with multiple living areas and a focus on capturing the expansive views of the Baw Baw ranges and beyond. The owners sought to create an impressive, captivating home through contemporary design and quality craftsmanship, achieved in the exterior cladding combination of Colorbond Standing Seam cladding in Monument, painted Surfmist brickwork and BGC Innova Duragroove Surfmist cladding.
Given the focus on the views, the glass entry door leads through the hallway to the main living area, showcasing stunning design elements including a raked ceiling rising up to 5.2 metres in height with large oversized fixed windows framing the feature clad chimney.
Curves are also featured throughout the home from the curved Steccawood ends to the island bench, to the arched mirrors throughout the home, use of round basins and subtly curved cabinetry details in the wall hung vanities, creating a harmonious and sophisticated flow to the home.
