Myrtle Crescent, Warragul

About the Home

This contemporary home was designed with a skillion roof form split into two separate components and divided by a flat roof section, which gives the illusion of a pod style building. A 10 degree twist has also been incorporated into the design to rotate the living areas towards North but to also add to the individuality of the building.

Concrete blockwork is featured extensively throughout, both internally and externally, giving a unique, yet affordable, texture to the home. The harshness of the concrete blockwork has been softened with the use of Victorian Ash timber cladding. The main living area of the home is a spacious open plan living area, with a raked ceiling rising up from the lower kitchen ceiling, creating interest in the highlighted angle of the ceiling.
