About the Home
The objective of this project was to construct a spacious farmhouse style home in the picturesque Darnum region, situated on a large rural property surrounded by the rolling hills of Gippsland. The home aims to complement its surrounding landscape. With the seamless pairing of Colorbond Monument roof, Décor Stone Sapphire Mica Schist and the traditional element of weatherboards, this grand home exudes luxury from the outside in. The home is the perfect mix of traditional and contemporary, ensuring it will stand the test of time in years to come all whilst capturing the view and providing the ultimate entertainer’s home
The design of this home is defined by its impressive size and grandeur from the inside out. A standout feature of the home is the grand wrap around verandah, offering the homeowners the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the surrounding landscape from every angle. Another key element is the conservatory, with its vaulted ceiling, exposed rafters and MDF V groove lining boards between the rafters, blending modern and traditional elements.
